Local & Long-Distance residential Moving in the hudson valley

Moving is stressful. Let our heroes make it easier.

At Hercules Moving Heroes, we've been handling residential moves across the Hudson Valley since 2021. What we've learned is that people don't want their stuff moved by just anybody — they want to feel like it's in capable hands. That's what we show up to deliver every time.

Whether you're moving a full house across Greene County or relocating an apartment from one end of Kingston to the other, our crew moves quickly, handles your belongings carefully, and keeps you informed throughout. No surprises, no scrambling — just a move that goes the way it's supposed to.

What’s included in our residential moving service

  • We load every room with care, secure everything properly in the truck, and unload it exactly where you want it in your new home.

  • Bed frames, sectionals, large furniture — we break it down at pickup and put it back together at delivery.

  • Every piece of furniture is padded and wrapped before it goes on the truck. Floors and door frames are protected as needed throughout the move.

  • Need help packing? We bring the materials and pack your belongings properly, including fragile items and valuables. Available as an add-on.

Why choose to move with Hercules?

We built this company on three things: efficiency, quality communication, and genuine care for the people we work with. Our reviews prove it: we show up on time, we move fast without being reckless, and we keep clients in the loop so nobody's left wondering what's happening.

We're local — founded by two Catskill natives. However we still provide you professional level moves. We never subcontract and what we quote is what you pay — no fees added at the end of the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For moves between April and October, we recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks out. Peak season fills fast, especially on weekends. Off-season moves can often be scheduled with shorter notice. When in doubt, reach out early — it's easier to adjust a booking than to find last-minute availability.

  • No hidden fees. The price we quote is the price you pay. We go over the scope of your move in detail before giving you a number so there are no surprises at the end of the job.

  • No problem. We offer loading-only and unloading-only services. If you've rented your own truck and just need a crew for the heavy lifting, we can handle that.

  • We come equipped with the right tools — dollies, straps, furniture sliders, and padding. Large pieces like sectionals, dressers, and bed frames are disassembled when needed and reassembled at the destination. If you have something particularly heavy or oversized, mention it when you request a quote so we can plan accordingly.

  • The more organized things are when we arrive, the faster the move goes. Boxes should be sealed and labeled by room. Loose items should be consolidated. Clear a path through hallways and doorways if possible. If you have items you don't want touched — things you're moving yourself or leaving behind — set them aside and let us know before we start loading.

  • Yes. If your move involves a storage unit at any point — whether you're moving into one, out of one, or both — we handle it. Just include that in the details when you contact us.

  • We take every precaution to prevent damage — furniture is wrapped, floors are protected as needed, and we don't rush at the expense of care. In the unlikely event that something is damaged, contact us directly and we'll work through it with you. We're a local company and our reputation matters to us. We always strive to do right by our customers.

  • Yes. We work seven days a week. Weekend availability does book up faster than weekdays, particularly in peak season, so if you have a specific Saturday or Sunday in mind, reach out sooner rather than later.

  • We do our best. If you have a last-minute situation, call or text us directly rather than filling out a form — that's the fastest way to check availability and get something on the calendar quickly.
